Drowners 名字取決於Suede 的一首歌，它是由來自威爾士(四面臨英格蘭、愛爾蘭、蘇格蘭)名模Matthew Hitt 擔任主唱，在美國紐約組成的獨立時髦搖滾樂團，聽50年代和60年代的搖滾樂長大的Matt Hitt，樂隊風格影響頗深，我們可以在音樂中聽到，Matt Hitt 帶雅痞的歌聲非常適合他們的樂團，儘管他們一身黑，很酷但你可能覺得很壞，事實上他們有趣又隨和。當他們推出〈Long Hair〉這首，讓我好喜歡，音樂也帶有夏天氣息，他們的生活在歌詞中表露無疑，影片找朋友來呈現真實的一面。今年8月終於推出單曲「Between Us Girls」，共3首歌

Matt 的好友Spector 的主唱和 Blood Orange 也出現在影片中，Matt 也出現在Spector 的MV裡，完全是生活最真的呈現。
