常逛MySpace網頁都知道藝人自介的部分有一項「風格近似」(sounds like)，Ke$ha在這一項目填入的是”god having an orgasm”(上帝也有高潮）。  她的另一個非正常行徑是透過各中管道找到歌手Prince的住址，並且自己開車到比佛利山莊，賄賂他家園丁好溜進大門，目的就是希望Prince能考慮一下當她專輯的制作人。當時Prince家還有不少樂團朋友在，Kesha Sebert就自己找了個位置坐，等待Prince能注意到她的存在，後來Prince的確注意到她，不過接著也請警衛把她攆出去，在被踢出去前，她也沒忘記任務重點，趕緊留下自己的demo CD，只是Prince後來並沒有回復她消息。

Tik Tok透露出Ke$ha現在的生活態度：口袋空空但青春正好，沒有車？搭公車！沒錢買喝的？帶個瓶子就能裝東西！總之不要因為任何事被限制住。她直率且實際，不在意別人眼光，很愛在晚上和朋友去喝幾杯狂歡，但不是party princess。而她喝酒狂歡的經驗也成為她寫歌的靈感，例如某次她宿醉醒來后，發現自己躺的客廳不是自己家，有幾個嬉皮樣的人走來走去，身邊也倒了好幾個不熟的酒鬼，後來才曉得那不是普通地方，可是The Eagles錄製經典歌曲Hotel California的聖地！  又有一次酒醒，她發現身邊環繞了一群大美女，她瞬間有種自己是吹牛老爹P. Diddy的感覺， Tik Tok的第一句歌詞就是這麼出來的：” Wake up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy ~”

Tik Tok的制作人之一是Dr.  Luke (Lukasz Gottwald)，他正是Katy Perry ” I Kissed a Girl “的背後推手，也操刀過Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson等人的專輯，很輝煌，無法一一敘述就是了。另外，參與Tik Tok創作的除了Dr.  Luke和Ke$ha本人，還有Benny Blanco，他相當年輕(1988年生)，比Ke$ha還小一歲，不過從跟著Dr.  Luke開始，他已經參與過Katy Perry、Britney Spears、Flo Rida、Lady Sovereign等人的專輯制作。
